Delighted to have you here. Even though it's raining, it's preferable to snow, so we will not complain. [0:12] And you've got to remember that it is the rain, spring rain, that brings the flowers, the April flowers, you know. And, yeah, and if you don't have any flowers, you don't get any May flowers. [0:26] So, we're set to go. Thank you. And let's thank the Lord, shall we? Father, it is with hearts filled with gratitude for who you are and what you've done for us in Christ. [0:43] So much of which completely escapes our understanding. But to the degree that we do understand and are able to comprehend what you've done for us, we once again offer our profound thanksgiving to you. [0:58] We can only imagine. In fact, we cannot even imagine. What else it is that you've done for us that we don't comprehend. It's hidden away in your heart, and we are grateful even for that. [1:10] So, thank you that you are pleased to reveal what you do, when you do, to whom you do. And we look to you now for whatever you have for us. Thank you again for your glorious presence and for this wonderful word to which we can appeal. [1:25] In Christ's name, amen. Amen. Well, as promised last week, I told you we were going to open this session with Q&A. [1:37] Encourage you to write down any questions that you might have, rather than trust your memory to remember them for a whole week. So, I am here prepared to entertain your questions. [1:47] I guess the only caveat that I would offer is we do not have a microphone set up now or a roving microphone where all of your questions can be easily picked up. [2:05] So, in light of that, if you do have a question or a comment, please try to keep it somewhat brief, because I will do my best then to repeat it. [2:18] So, it will be on the recording. And if it's a long dissertation or idea that you have, then I won't be able to do that and it won't get on the recording. So, let's keep that in mind. [2:30] But, at any rate, we want to just throw this 45 minutes open for any questions or comments that you may have, and we will do our best to address them. And again, I apologize for taking all the time each time and not leaving you adequate time for Q&A. [2:47] So, this is the only way, I guess, I can guarantee that we will get it in. So, who would like to begin this morning with whatever their question or their comment might be? [3:05] Oh, come on. The microphone does not like dead air. Gary. Yeah. I don't know for sure what subject you were looking for, but in reading through Acts, which I've done a couple, three times lately, it's somewhat confusing when you get back into, like, as an example, in chapter 19. [3:32] Paul, well, let me read just something real quickly. He asked people there, he said, did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed? [3:45] And they said to him, no, we have not even heard whether there is a Holy Spirit. And he said to them, into what then were you baptized? And they said, into John's baptism. And Paul said, John's baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in him who is coming after him. [4:04] That is in Jesus. And when they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they began speaking with tongues and prophesying. [4:18] That's a little confusing, because that's well after his conversion. I understand it is somewhat confusing. There's no question about it. And there are diverse opinions regarding this from grace people on both sides of the issue. [4:30] And rather than just cop out on you and bug out on you, I'll say, that is such a significant question, demanding a significant answer. [4:42] Can we put that on hold until next Sunday? And I will devote the morning to it, the whole session to it. Because it is key, and it is important. And yet, if I go into it now, it will take the whole time, and there won't be any time for other questions. [4:57] So I'll give you a heads up now that this is the issue, and this is the passage we will be dealing with, particularly next Sunday morning at the 9 o'clock hour. [5:08] So keep that in mind. We'll be able to give it a fuller treatment, because if I get a hit, miss, and a promise now, it will not be adequate. So thank you, but it's a very important question, and I can understand the confusion that has arisen over it, because it has for a lot of people. [5:22] All right, anything else that we can deal with this morning? All right. Anyone? Oh, come on, people. [5:38] Well, okay. [5:53] We will go on then with some other things I've got. I want, John. Could I bring up to the class what we talked about earlier, about Les Feldeck being on TV every day from 3 o'clock until 4 o'clock? [6:13] He had two programs. Well, just hold on a minute. That's not getting on the thing. Let me come to you, and you just say what you were saying all over again, and we'll get it on there. [6:25] All right. Shirley and I discovered that Les Feldeck is on TV, and we have direct TV. It's channel 373 and 377. [6:40] But that's only on direct TV. Yes. I don't know what it is on. Yeah, there are other channels, other networks. On other. So I on, on Spectrum and Morty. Yep. I on, on Spectrum and Morty. [6:52] But anyway, he has a half-hour program from 3 to 3.30 on one station, and from 3.30 to 4, he's got another half-hour, but it's a repeat. [7:03] Yeah. So you can watch it twice. Yeah. And he is on the very subject we've been talking about, prophecy and mystery. And right now he's on prophecy, and he is holding the church age back to later, and he goes straight from prophecy to the tribulation. [7:29] Okay. And, and, and, and the kingdom. Good. And it's really informative. He uses a lot of scripture, a lot of the same scripture you've been using in prophecy. [7:42] Okay. Great. Thank you. Thank you. Les Feldick is, I think, in his early 90s now, and he has completed his active ministry. [7:54] But he has such a huge backlog of pre-recorded programs, some of which are several years old. But I can assure you the truth hasn't changed. [8:09] And the teaching that was delivered on those messages for several years is just as appropriate today as it was then. And I heartily recommend it. And I know many of you get his publications, and we do, and the church has supported Les Feldick ministries for several years. [8:25] And you would do well to tune him in any time you can, radio or TV, because it will simply reinforce and supplement what you are getting here at Grace. [8:35] And as regards Grace Truth, I'm not convinced that there is such a thing as getting too much of it, or anybody overdosing. I've never heard of anyone overdosing on it yet. [8:46] But let me say this in connection with Grace Truth. There is a level of understanding and appreciation that is available to the believer from the study of the scriptures that is not to be gained by a casual reading of the scriptures. [9:13] Unfortunately, it is a casual reading of the scriptures, and in many cases, almost a dutiful, have-to reading of the scriptures that involves most Christians. [9:32] And those who engage in the Bible by just reading their chapter a day, or their portion, to get that obligation out of the way to make God happy for another day, I'll read another chapter in the Bible. [9:46] Those who approach it that way have no idea what they are depriving themselves of by way of a fuller, more understandable, more grateful appreciation of the Word of God. [10:05] This book is so much more than you think it is. It contains so much more than you think it does. [10:16] It is so much more important than you think it is that it deserves our serious attention. And this is why I'm convinced that Paul, when he wrote to Timothy, used the word that was probably a lot more enforced in 1611 when it was rendered in the King James, study. [10:36] Study to show yourself approved. And the word study, in its actual origin, what it means is concentrate on, focus on, zero in on. [10:51] And it means to exercise real deliberation and concentration as you approach the Word of God. [11:04] Give it diligence, give it thoughtful consideration. And this is one of the things that I think that will help propel someone from a cursory, superficial, daily, devotional, couple of chapters, deliver you from that into something else that is far greater. [11:24] And that is when you start asking questions of the Bible, wondering what the answers are. [11:34] I did this for quite a while after I had become a believer. I guess I was under the impression that you come to the Word of God almost like it's some kind of magic. [11:46] magic. And as you take in the words, there is some kind of spiritual osmosis that floats from those pages into your soul and it becomes part of you. [11:58] Well, I don't deny that there are dynamics about incorporating the Word of God that we don't understand. But I'm confident that it doesn't work that way. And as a new believer, when I was reading the Bible, I would come across passages and I'd say, hmm, boy, I wonder what that means. [12:20] You know, that's kind of hard to handle. I have no idea what the, and I don't have any idea what the answer would be to that. But, I know there is an answer and God has it and I'm just going to believe Him for it. [12:35] Maybe someday I'll find out. Maybe I'll have to wait until I get to heaven to find out. And then I would go on and continue my reading. And it wouldn't be long, maybe a page later, and I'd come to the same thing again. [12:48] I wonder what that means. I wonder what, and you know, finally, I got to the place where I decided, this bothers me so much, I'm not going to wonder anymore. [12:59] I'm going to try to find out. And then, you're on to something. Then you start digging and searching and looking for answers. And when you do, you get hooked. [13:11] And you can't get enough. And you go on searching and looking and finding answers. And you know what? When you get an answer that is satisfying, you know what it does? [13:24] It propels you to look for more answers. And then you're on to something. That's what I want to see accomplished here at Grace Bible Church and everyone that comes here. [13:38] I know for a fact, having been here for a number of years, I know for a fact that there are and have been people who come to Grace because they like the fellowship, they like the informality, they like the friendliness, they like the people, and the teaching and the Bible. [14:09] Well, yeah, that's okay too. But that's strictly secondary. And sometimes, sometimes those people don't stay. [14:19] They don't last. And I don't know what else it is they're looking for, but maybe they go somewhere else. And then, and then there are some believers, you see, we're all at different levels of understanding and growth. [14:33] There are some people who, yeah, I guess, I guess this, this mystery, this prophecy mystery thing, yeah, I guess there is. Actually, the only thing that I'm concerned about is just preach the gospel and get people saved. [14:48] That's all that matters. And that's their bottom line. That's all they care about is just evangelism and preach the word and get people saved and so on and so on. [15:00] And, but that's not all that matters. What matters is that we concentrate, focus on study to show ourselves approved unto God a workman. [15:18] Listen, if you're going to get into the scriptures and get serious about it, you're not taking a vacation. You're working. It is mental working. [15:31] You are, you are, you are accepting content, you are processing the content, you are expending mental energy to understand understand and explain that thing to satisfy your own questions and in that process, in that process, you are growing, you are developing, you are maturing. [15:57] There are lots of Christians, yes, they're going to be in heaven when they die and we're going to see them there, but here on earth, their spiritual growth is stunted. [16:10] And I'm sorry to say this, but I'm absolutely convinced that it is true. That's true of most Christians. Not some, but most. [16:21] They never get beyond kindergarten. And, they're quite contented with that. I just don't understand how anybody can be. [16:32] You realize this book is God's love letter to humanity. Pray tell me, how would you feel if you wrote a serious love letter to your love and they didn't even bother to read it or if they read it, they just scanned it superficially. [16:59] that's not real. When one gets a love letter from a lover from whom they've been separated for a long time, they can't wait to rip that envelope open and read it. [17:17] And they're never satisfied with reading it just one time. They read it over and over and over and they even try to read between the lines. They try to, they want to milk that letter for everything it's in. [17:31] And I think that's the way we ought to be with the Word of God. And as you do and as you mature and as you grow, your perspective enlarges and changes and becomes more conformed to God's perspective because what you're getting in the Scriptures, the Scriptures are God's perspective. [17:56] The Bible is God's take on the world, on you, on Himself, on everything. And the more you imbibe that, the more you become like the one you're reading about. [18:15] It's automatic and it's wonderful. So, let me say this. the world regarding this issue of prophecy, the world is in a mess and it has been since Genesis 3 and what everything is all about, as we have said before, what everything is all about, where everything is going and what God's end game is, is about cleaning up the mess and making the world as it is supposed to be, as it was before the mess was made. [19:03] And that is called the realization, the establishment of, the setting up of, the kingdom of heaven coming to earth. [19:14] earth. That's where everything is headed and everything prior to that is just a small drop in the bucket to that one great grand crescendo. [19:25] That's where it's all going. That's where we will be when this world gets fixed. first. And how this can be done and who will do it is the subject right now of mystery and we're going to look at it beginning in Isaiah. [19:46] Would you turn there please? Isaiah chapter one. Isaiah chapter one is written approximately 700 years before Jesus was born in Bethlehem. [20:15] So you need to keep that in mind. And as the world took on the description of a mess in Genesis three when everything came crashing down with the fall it continued apace for a thousand years until finally God decided he was going to wipe everything out and start all over again and he did that in Genesis 6 and he preserved eight souls by water Noah and his three sons Mrs. [20:49] Noah and their sons and their wives and through one of those sons God deemed it wise to begin all over again and establish a dynamic by which he was going to fix that broken world that man had ruined that resulted in the flood he's going to get a fresh start and what this fresh start and beginning all over again proves is this is that angelic or humans either of whom are given a free moral agency they cannot they cannot resist the temptation to upend if they can the God who created them and become their own God and that's exactly what happened all over again it happened with [21:50] Adam and Eve and Noah and his son Shem that's going to begin the line of generation that will produce the Messiah the Semitic people it's going to start all over again and it is going to be another colossal failure on the part of mankind that will require another remedy on the part of the creator and it is described here in Isaiah as Isaiah is laying out pulling no punches on the nation of Israel for their abandonment of the truth and God has raised up this prophet and what we've got here is a whole whole series of incidents one prophet after another delivering the same message appealing to the ability and the willingness of man to turn from his wicked ways and to turn to God and it continually falls on deaf ears well it will be different when [22:59] God sends his own son that will really get their attention that won't fall on deaf ears yes it will yes it will because the appeal is going to be to that same fallen intellect that has the power of the option of volition and we just cannot resist turning it inward and making it about us and that's where we are and that's where we still are and the time is coming when that's going to be changed because God will put in us not on us but in us his spirit and in us his will and in us so and I realize that that's talking about a glorified body and that's the only way that we're going to be able to overcome it but in these bodies of flesh we still have an old Adamic nature that still wants to rule the roost and I don't care how godly a person is whether he's a preacher or whoever he is he's still got the vision of Isaiah chapter 1 the son of Amoz concerning [24:16] Judah and Jerusalem which he saw during the rains he's got an extensive ministry Uzziah Jotham Ahaz and Hezekiah kings of Judah now Isaiah is going to be prophesying and conducting his ministry for four kings so he's going to have quite an elongated kind of ministry and he says listen oh heavens and hear oh earth for the Lord speaks sons I have reared and brought up but they have revolted against me and he uses this analogy which ought to be quite embarrassing to every human being an ox knows its owner and a donkey its master's manger but Israel does not know my people do not understand now folks that is not intended to be a compliment he's saying here that some of [25:28] God's what we call poor dumb animals are using what sense perception God has given him more than some humans are ah alas sinful nation people weighed down with iniquity offspring of evildoers sons who act corruptly they have abandoned the Lord they have despised the Holy One of Israel they have turned away from him these are the only people of God who have been the actual focus of time attention love labor provision everything you can think of from the Lord to these people and this has been their response which is quite incredible where will you be stricken again as you continue in your rebellion the whole head is sick and the whole heart is faint from the sole of the foot even to the head there is nothing sound in it only bruises welts and raw wounds not pressed out or bandaged nor softened with oil your land is desolate your cities are burned with fire your fields strangers are devouring them in your presence it is desolation as overthrown by strangers and the daughter of [26:57] Zion what's the daughter of Zion the daughter of Zion is and always has been and always will be the talking about literal Sodom literal Sodom had long since been destroyed it's gone it's buried in the depths of the south end of the Dead Sea but he is likening Israel in its behavior and attitude to a modern Sodom and he uses the name Sodom hear the word of the Lord you rulers of Sodom give ear to the instruction of your God you people of Gomorrah what are your multiplied sacrifices to me says the [27:59] Lord I've had enough of burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed cattle and I take no pleasure in the blood of bulls lambs or goats now wait a minute wait a minute God aren't you the one that told him to bring these aren't you the one that demanded that they bring these animals indeed he was well why is he put out with them attitude and a wrong motive they brought them not with a broken heart available and open to God for cleansing and purifying because of their sin they brought the animals simply as the conduction of a ritual just going through the motions it's an outward religiosity that has nothing to do with the heart this is why this is why Jesus quoted from the Old Testament to his own people Israel saying this people they honor me with their lips they talk a good religion but their heart is far from me that's what [29:09] Isaiah is talking about when you come to appear before me who requires of you this trampling of my courts bring your worthless offerings no longer their incense is an abomination to me new moon and sabbath the calling of assemblies I cannot endure iniquity and the solemn assembly I hate your new moon festivals and your appointed feasts they have become a burden to me I am weary of bearing them so when you spread out your hands in prayer I will hide my eyes from you yes even though you multiply prayers I will not listen your hands are full of bloodshed wash yourselves make yourselves clean remove the evil of your deeds from my sight cease to do evil learn to do good seek justice reprove the ruthless defend the orphan plead for the widow come now let us reason together says the Lord and you know what this is doing what [30:11] God is doing here he's saying he's saying I'm available to you despite all of this waywardness and sinfulness I'm available to you will you come let us reason together come come though your sins are as scarlet they will be as white as snow though they are red like crimson they will be like wool if you consent and obey you will eat the best of the land but if you refuse and rebel you will be devoured by the sword truly the mouth of the Lord has spoken how the faithful city has become a harlot she who was full of justice righteousness once lodged in her but now murderers your silver has become dross your drink diluted with water your rulers are rebels and companions of thieves everyone loves a bribe all of your high and mighty people are all on the take they all got their hands out corruption is running wild your rulers are rebels companions of thieves everyone loves a bribe chases after rewards they do not defend you know what he's saying he's saying [31:31] Jerusalem has a deep state yeah that's exactly what he's saying and you know something the deep state in government is rooted firmly fixed and there is not a nation on the face of the earth where the government does not have a deep state and the United States of America is no different we've got a deep state and someone says it would be wonderful if we could just go in there and clean out all of the swamp it sure would be but you'd have to do it again another ten years because that's the problem it's the human nature problem faithful city has become a harlot now therefore the Lord God of hosts the mighty one of Israel declares will will be I will will turn my hand against you and will smelt away your dross as with lye and will remove all your alloy then [32:37] I will restore your judges as at the first and your counselors as at the beginning after that you will be called the city of righteousness a faithful city Zion will be redeemed with justice and her repentant ones with righteousness but transgressors and sinners will be crushed together and those who forsake the Lord shall come to an end surely you will be ashamed of the oaks which you have desired this is where their pagan places of worship were held and you will be embarrassed at the gardens which you have chosen for you will be like an oak tender his work also a spark thus they will both burn together there will be none to quench them and then the word of the Lord came to Isaiah the son of Amoz concerning Judah and Jerusalem now it will come about that now here we've got an enormous contrast in the last days the mountain of the house of the [33:47] Lord will be established as the chief of the mountains and will be raised above the hills and all the nations all the nations will stream to it and many peoples will come and say come let us go up to the mountain of the Lord to the house of the God of Jacob that he may teach us concerning his ways and that we may walk in his paths for the law will go forth from Jerusalem and he will judge between the nations and will render decisions for many peoples and they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks nation will not lift up sword against nation and never again will they learn more well why how is that going to happen what's going to bring that about what will be the methodology that will be pursuing that and for that we need to turn over to [34:52] Isaiah chapter 7 verse 10 and the Lord then spoke again to Ahaz saying ask a sign for yourself from the Lord your God make it deep as Sheol or high as heaven but Ahaz said I will not ask nor will I test the Lord then he said listen now oh house of David is it too slight a thing for you to try the patience of men that you will try the patience of my God as well therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign behold a virgin will be with child and bear a son and she will call his name Emmanuel you know that means God with us he will eat curds and honey the time he knows enough to refuse evil and choose good but before the boy will know enough to refuse evil and choose good the land whose two kings you dread will be forsaken [39:03] and love to come the [41:06] Lord of hosts will accomplish this come over a couple more pages to chapter 11 Isaiah 11 then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse what is a shoot a shoot is just a single little growth that protrudes out of the ground, that is no more perhaps than a finger length high, insignificant, easy to walk on or walk over and not even realize you'd done it. [41:44] It's just a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse. Who's Jesse? Jesse. Jesse is the father of David, the king. [41:58] And this shoot that is being spoken of here is establishing the Davidic dynasty. [42:10] A dynasty in a monarchy or royalty, a dynasty is established when the bloodline is maintained. [42:23] Sometimes the line of royalty runs out of an air and they have to leave the direct bloodline. [42:34] That is, it's neither parent to daughter or parent to son because there is no son or there is no daughter. And they have to diverse from the actual literal bloodline. [42:49] And the dynasty is broken and the name is often changed. In Great Britain, for instance, we've got, there were the Windsors, the House of Windsor, the House of Kent, the House of, what is it now? [43:06] There's the House of Stuart. I don't know what Queen Elizabeth is. What's the, what's the, what's the name? Anybody know? She's a Windsor, but they have Mountbatten Windsor. [43:19] The House of Windsor? Yeah. Okay. So what this is saying is that this line is going to begin, the shoot is going to begin with David, the son of Jesse. [43:36] He is that shoot and he will be the beginning of the Davidic line. And everyone that comes after him will be a direct descendant of him. [43:47] And the case of Mary, Mary was a direct blood descendant of David, the king through David's son, Nathan. And Joseph, who is the adopted father of Jesus, not the biological father because God was the biological father. [44:08] But Solomon was the progenitor and Solomon, of course, was the son of David. So his throne right, his legal right claim to the throne came from his adopted father, Joseph. [44:27] And both of them, both Joseph and Mary are direct descendants of David the king. And Jesus will be born approximately 1,000 years after David had been dead and buried. [44:42] The spirit of the Lord will rest on him. The spirit of wisdom and understanding. The spirit of counsel and strength. The spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. And he will delight in the fear of the Lord. [44:54] He will not judge by what his eyes see nor make a decision by what his ears hear. But with righteousness he will judge the poor and decide with fairness for the afflicted of the earth. [45:06] And he will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth and with the breath of his lips. He will slay the wicked. Also righteousness will be the belt about his loins and faithfulness about the belt about his waist. [45:19] How this mess that the world is in is going to be fixed is what we're talking about right now. And this is millennial content. This is what he's going to do when he comes. [45:30] And the wolf will dwell with the lamb. And the leopard will lie down with the kid. And the calf and the young lion and the fatling together. [45:44] And the little boy will lead them. Also the cow and the bear will graze. Their young will lie down together. [45:57] And the lion will eat straw like the ox. Just can't imagine that. Don't try to feed a lion straw today. Don't go to the zoo over in Columbus and throw a bale of hay in and expect the lion to eat it. [46:13] He won't eat. He'd probably starve first. He's carnivorous. He's a meat eater. This is saying a time of peace is going to prevail upon the earth that has never been known before. [46:25] The nursing child will play by the hole of the cobra. And the weaned child will put his hand on the viper's den. They will not hurt or destroy and all my holy mountain. [46:39] For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. And then it will come about in that day. Look at that phrase. Don't forget it. Underline it. [46:49] In that day that the nations will resort to the root of Jesse. There it is. [47:00] There it is. There it is. There it is. There it is. David again. Who will stand as a signal for the peoples. And his resting place will be glorious. And it will happen on that day that the Lord will again recover the second time with his hands the remnant of his people who remain from Assyria, Egypt, Petros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Haman, from the islands of the sea. [47:25] And he will lift up a standard for the nations and will assemble the banished ones of Israel and will gather the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. [47:36] And we won't take time to look at it. But there is a cross reference of Matthew 24, 31 that our Lord delivered in the Olivet Discourse. And all of this is going to be the result of the Messiah's coming. [47:49] There are other references. We'll not take time to look at. But you may check them out at your leisure. And I would refer you to Isaiah chapter 25. For those of you who are taking notes, Isaiah chapter 25, verses 6 through 9 and 35, 1 through 10. [48:07] And once again, our time is already gone. But I will allow just a moment or two for a couple questions. Marvis. All of this that you're reading and it's obvious that they, that Jesus is in control. [48:21] He is the head of the government. Everything is wonderful. They couldn't ask for more. And at the end of the millennium, they rebel. [48:33] It's just beyond my understanding. I can understand that. It's beyond mine too. And the reason that they will rebel is because they have the ability to do so. And these who will be rebelling are those who enter that millennial reign of Christ when he has dispatched. [48:53] And Revelation 19 makes it quite clear how Christ deals with those at what is referred to as the Battle of Armageddon. [49:05] It will not be much of a battle because he will simply decimate them with the word of his mouth. And it is referred to as a sharp sword that goes out of his mouth. [49:18] It is nothing more than his spoken word. And the enemy will be absolutely decimated. And this is going to take place in the valley of Jezreel, also known as the valley of Jehoshaphat, also known as the Kidron Valley. [49:31] And it will be right in front of Jerusalem, right outside. It's down in the deep defile. It's part of the African rift. And that will be where the Antichrist, who will be, by the way, the first casualty, the first casualty, and the enemies that will have massed from all over the world to comprise the enemies of God, will have massed in Armageddon in the north, in Megiddo. [49:57] And they will come down, and Christ will come up from Basra, and they will meet there right before Jerusalem, and they will be dispatched by the sword that goes out of his mouth. And that will be the end of them. [50:09] But there will be a considerable number of people who will survive as believers. I don't know to what extent there will be unbelievers, but there will be a number of people that will survive this tribulation period headed by the Antichrist at the end of the seven years. [50:28] They will have survived that, barely. And they, too, will enter into that millennial reign. But they will have bodies just like yours and mine. And they will reproduce. [50:42] And the children that they reproduce will reproduce. And that will continue for a thousand years. And at the end of a thousand years, you're going to have a considerable number of people. [50:55] And during that time, they will have opportunity to make their obeisance to the God who is on the throne, Jesus Christ, ruling and reigning in righteousness, where everything is as ideal as it can possibly be. [51:10] But at the end of that period, Satan is loosed and he has not been rehabilitated. He goes out to do his thing and he succeeds in recruiting a great number of people who decide to follow him. [51:27] And as a result, they will be decimated as well. And that's in Isaiah 19 and Isaiah chapter 19, Revelation chapter 19 and 20 and 21. [51:40] And that will be the end of them. And that will end the whole millennial reign of Christ. Then, according to Revelation 21 and 22, the eternal state begins. [51:52] And my understanding is the eternal state is going to be much the same as the millennial reign of Christ, only it will have no end. Yes, Marla? Marla? The people that go into the millennium and then they have children and those children that become believers, do you suppose that it's the same as with us? [52:17] They have the opportunity, they know, then they have to choose and it will be the same that once they choose, they will have the Holy Spirit within them and the others will not? [52:29] I mean, I don't see anything in Scripture that gives me an answer to that. My guess is that's probably the case, but I just don't know any more than you about that. I do know that they will have an intact volition that they will be responsible for using. [52:48] And some will use it the right way and some will use it the wrong way. And Joe, make it quick, we've got to dismiss. Just like Adam and Eve all over again. Yeah, in some respect. [52:58] And you know what this whole thing, what this whole thing is designed to do, in effect, is to demonstrate to whomever, and Ephesians 1 makes it quite clear that one of the things that will be the outcome of this is that God's plan, God's ways will be revealed to the principalities and powers, the angelic beings, what the upshot of this is, what the final outplaying of it is, it will be demonstrated to them. [53:36] And if you look at that later, that's in Ephesians. But we've got to quit. I'd love to go on to noon with this because this is content that is so critical and so interesting. But thank you all for your kind attention. [53:48] We've got the break now.
