[0:00] You would open your Bibles, please, to 2 Kings, 2 Kings chapter 6. And Gary will come momentarily and read this passage for us.

[0:14] And while you are finding it, I just want to preface the message with a couple of remarks. And that is, this morning we are going to, I trust, gain a new or maybe an added appreciation for the reality of the existence of the unseen, the spiritual.

[0:31] Everybody is fully familiar with things physical. We can see them, touch them, smell them, hear them, and all the rest. But with the spiritual, it is not so. And yet, the Bible makes it very clear, Old Testament as well as the New, that there is an unseen world that is just as real as the one we are looking at.

[0:55] It is immaterial, but it is nonetheless just as objective in its existence as is the physical. And the passage that is going to be read from 2 Kings chapter 6 gives us just a little bit of a hint of this, kind of sets the stage for what we'll be following.

[1:15] And there will be other passages from the New Testament that we will pull into the scene as well. So, with those introductory remarks, Gary, come and read the passage, would you please?

[1:31] Good morning. Again, we're in 2 Kings chapter 6. And we'll be looking at verses 8 through 23.

[1:45] Now the king of Aram was warring against Israel. And he counseled with his servants, saying, In such and such a place shall be my camp.

[2:02] The man of God sent word to the king of Israel, saying, Beware that you do not pass this place, for the Arminians are coming down there.

[2:16] The king of Israel sent to the place about which the man of God had told him. Thus he warned him, so that he guarded himself there more than once or twice.

[2:30] Now the heart of the king of Aram was enraged over this thing. And he called his servants and said to them, Will you tell me which of us is for the king of Israel?

[2:45] One of his servants said, No, my lord, O king, but Elisha the prophet, who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom.

[3:02] So he said, Go and see where he is, that I may send and take him. And it was told him, saying, And his servants said to him, Alas, my master, what shall we do?

[3:44] So he answered, Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them. Then Elisha prayed and said, O Lord, I pray, Open his eyes that he may see.

[4:02] And the Lord opened the servant's eyes, And he saw, and behold, The mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire, All around Elisha.

[4:16] When they came down to him, Elisha prayed to the Lord and said, Strike this people with blindness, I pray. So he struck them with blindness, According to the word of Elisha.

[4:30] Then Elisha said to them, This is not the way, Nor is this the city. Follow me, And I will bring you to the man whom you seek.

[4:44] And he brought them to Samaria. When they had come into Samaria, Elisha said, O Lord, open the eyes of these men That they may see.

[4:57] So the Lord opened their eyes, And they saw. And behold, They were in the midst of Samaria. Then the king of Israel, When he saw them, Said to Elisha, My father, Shall I kill them?

[5:16] Shall I kill them? He answered, You shall not kill them. Would you kill those you have taken captive With your sword and with your bow?

[5:30] Set bread and water before them, That they may eat and drink, And go to their master. So he prepared a great feast for them.

[5:44] And when they had eaten and drunk, He sent them away. And they went to their master. And the marauding bands of Armians Did not come again into the land of Israel.

[6:00] Rather remarkable passage that in a number of ways Contrasts the existence of the physical with the immaterial.

[6:13] And there was a contingency of spirit beings, Angelic beings that were surrounding this entire situation That the servant of Elisha was not able to see or appreciate.

[6:27] Yet they were there. And when the Lord opened his eyes so that he could see them, Then they became to him as real as if they were physical. We are suggesting that there is a spiritual world Similar to what is described here.

[6:42] All around us, Only we, Locked into these physical bodies as we are, Do not have the ability to see those Or to make contact with that spiritual element.

[6:53] Yet it is there, And it is just as real as is the physical. Our tendency is to dismiss anything that we cannot see As being non-existent.

[7:04] And that's a rather superficial approach to the whole thing. Well, I guess it's been probably two years or more Since we began a series entitled The Jewish Final Solution to the World's Problems.

[7:18] And we took that as a play on the words That were offered originally by Adolf Eichmann When they set about to destroy the Jewish population Throughout the world, Or at least throughout Europe.

[7:30] And they called their concentration in death camps And gas ovens The Final Solution to the Jewish Problem. Well, God has a final solution to the human problem.

[7:42] And he is going to use The Jewish people to bring it to pass. God established a covenant With Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob That he most assuredly will honor and will fulfill Even though Israel is at the present time Set aside in their unbelief And rejection of their Messiah.

[8:04] The time is coming When they will be brought back on the main track And God will conclude The unfinished business That he had started With the nation of Israel. And in our message for today We are simply talking about The progression of Revelation As it moves through the Bible.

[8:24] And we told you that When you come through the Gospels Through the Old Testament And through the Gospels And through the earlier portions Of the book of Acts Then God drops a bombshell Right there in the book of Acts.

[8:37] And this bombshell Is in the form of a human being. His name is Saul of Tarsus. He is converted to Jesus Christ And he becomes Paul the Apostle.

[8:49] And the bombshell that he drops is That God is now finished With the Old Covenant And he is bringing in A whole new order of being.

[9:00] And this is called the Church Which is the Body of Christ. It is referred to as a mystery Because it is not the subject Of prophecy in the Old Testament. Nor is it found in the Gospels.

[9:11] It is something that is just sprung On mankind out of the blue. Even though Paul tells us In Ephesians 3 That this idea Of Jew and Gentile Blended together in one body Was in the mind and heart of God From eternity past.

[9:30] It had always been his purpose. But he was not pleased To reveal it Or even give a hint of it Until he revealed it To Paul the Apostle Through an abundance of revelations And charged him With the responsibility Of communicating this newfound truth All over the Mediterranean world.

[9:51] And the Apostle Paul Devoted the entirety of his life To that very thing. However, the time is coming When as updated As Paul's mystery information is And by the way That's what it was Paul Through the abundance Of revelations given to him By the ascended Christ Had this information To communicate And it constituted An update.

[10:20] It was new information That did not exist before. And the time is coming When Paul's information And update Will also be updated.

[10:33] And we will read about that When we get there In the book of the Revelation. It consists of the final update. Because there is an end To the story.

[10:45] And it ends in eternality. And that is the message Of the latter chapters Of Revelation. So Paul's mystery information Will be updated.

[10:56] And I've got some content here Some propositions That I'm going to share with you And I wrote them down So I can read them to you. And I know you don't Particularly like that. I don't particularly like it either.

[11:07] I like to read But I don't particularly Like to be read to. However If I don't read These remarks I will go astray Too often And we will not Get through the content And I want to try And allow some time For Q&A So Marie Give me this At about 20 after If you would please.

Okay We will have some Q&A So Let's get into this And we are going to begin Before Our beginning Back to where There was no beginning But only eternity Because A beginning Began Only with us mortals As described In Genesis 1 Because before There was our beginning In Genesis 1-1 There was no beginning There was just An eternal existence That had no beginning Certainly will have no ending Mortals Along with time And space Had a beginning Everything that has a beginning Must have a cause Because God had no beginning He is the uncaused first cause He alone inhabits eternity

[12:27] He existed as Father Son and Holy Spirit All spirit beings In this triune Godhead It pleased this eternal Uncaused being To give a beginning To other beings These other beings Constitute In order Of spirit beings Also called angels So now Up till this time There is no materiality No physicality Of any kind Exists anywhere Because God is spirit And they that worship him Must worship him In spirit And in truth The angels The seraphim And the cheraphim That God is going to create And bring into existence They too Will be spirit beings They will not possess Physical bodies It is nothing But a purely Spiritual world That existed Before Genesis 1-1 Even Even The one we think of As Jesus Was a spirit being He was not Jesus

[13:39] He did not become Jesus Until he assumed The human body In the womb Of the virgin Mary And in connection With that He was told His mother was told Thou shalt call His name Jesus For he shall Save his people From their sins Jesus as a man Did not exist Until Bethlehem Even though He existed From eternity past And this member This spirit being Member Of the eternal Godhead Became Enfleshed That's the Incarnation He took upon him The form of a human being And that's what Bethlehem Was all about But previous to that He was a spirit being In the same sense That his father Is a spirit being And the Holy Spirit Is a spirit being These other beings Constitute That God brought Into existence Constitute An order of spirit Beings Called angels They are made up

[14:40] Of a rank of beings Called seraphim That possessed Six wings each Cherubim The order of which Lucifer ranked Number one Cherubim Will be dispatched In Genesis 3 At the entrance Of the garden Of Eden To guard the way To the tree of life And prevent Adam and Eve From re-entering Following their expulsion From the garden Everything Or everyone Was spirit In form And essence Without any Physicality Until Genesis 1 Lucifer Lucifer In his rebellion Against his maker Will be cast Down to earth And here He will engage The newly created Humans Who possess A physical body As well as A human spirit Which God Breathed into them At their creation Lucifer Who had then Become Satan The name which Means adversary Recruited These first humans To join his team Of adversaries Against the creator

[15:41] To be on his team They had to undergo An initiation rite Experience of rebellion Against their creator Which they did In the fall They too Are now compromised Or contaminated beings Who forfeited The innocence With which God Created them Much in the same way As Lucifer Forfeited his innocence When he rebelled Against the maker All that follows In human history From this point In Genesis 3 That records the fall To this present day And forward Is moving toward The resolution Of that original Angelic conflict That began Between the creator And angels Before humans Were ever created It will finally Be resolved In Revelation 20 With the new heavens And new earth And the adversary Satan And all his recruits Both angelic And human Will be judged And punished We as humans

[16:42] In a long history Of humanity Are involved And en route To realizing This grand Final resolution We as physical beings Do not have The ability To become Purely spirit beings Until we die Physically And become Absent from our body Angels Angels As spirit beings Can also Take unto themselves A physical body Giving them The appearance As humans They appeared As such And were taken To be humans By other humans In repeated instances In the old And new testaments Sometimes In fact Two of them At least Will even be Present at the Resurrection Of our Lord As recorded In the gospels God is going To use Humans As the true JV team To defeat The A team Of supposedly Superior beings Who are angels

[18:43] Remains Intact Noah Was a Man Who found Grace in The eyes Of the Lord But Noah Still had A human Volition That was Flawed Just like Our Volitions The chief Consequence And if you Get nothing Else out of This message I hope You get This The chief Consequence Of the Fall of Our first Parents Was that They were Imbued With a Sense Of Self-centeredness That they Never had Before And this Has become The predominant Curse For humanity We are all In our Nature Self-centered Self-seeking And self-serving And once in a While we get In each Other's way When we are Trying to Pursue Our way And conflict As a result And when it Happens among Nations You call it War That's the

[19:45] Bloody scene That's where We are That's what's Going on You have to Be blind Not to See it So Most of This Conflict That began Between humans And the Angelic Satan Will result In conflict Between humans And humans Producing great Carnage and Hostility It will be Played out In a Purely Physical Realm That is Planet Earth Until a New dynamic Is brought Forth That will Equip the Physical Beings With spiritual Abilities As a Result Of Spiritual Regeneration This Dynamic Will be Introduced With the Revelation Of the Mystery Revealed To Paul By the Risen And Glorified Christ This Will cause Paul To say What he Did In Second Corinthians Ten For Though We Walk In The Flesh We Do Not

[20:45] War According To The Flesh For The Weapons Of Our Warfare Are Not Of The Flesh But Divinely Powerful For The Destruction Of Fortresses And He's Talking Here In Spiritual Terms He's Saying The Weapons Of Our Warfare Are Not Guns And Bombs And Knives The Weapons Of Our Warfare As Contrasted With The Weapons Of Warfare Before Which Were Physical Bombs And Bullets And Knives Is Spiritual So With The Body Of Christ With The Revelation Of The Mystery With This Whole New Concept That God Has Begun This New Paradigm This New Update The Emphasis Is Going To Be On The Spiritual Not On The Physical Now It's Not Going To Deny The Physical But It's Going To Emphasize The Spiritual And Where Most People Go Astray Today Is That They Never Get Caught Up With This Update They're Still Operating

[21:45] With The Physical Still Thinking In Terms Of The Physical We Tend To Put All Of Our Money On The Physical We Spend All Kinds Of Money Taking Care Of The Physical Operating On The Physical Feeding The Physical Primping The Physical Cosmetizing The Physical And It bears Testimony To The Fact That We Have Precious Little Understanding Or Value Of That Which Really Matters Which Is The Spiritual When Paul Said We Are Destroying Speculations And Every Lofty Thing Raised Up Against The Knowledge Of God He's Talking About Spiritual Matters How They Combat The Untruthfulness Of Humanity That Reasons With A Fallen Intellect That Contradicts And Combats Against The Machinations Of The Evil One The Devices Of The Evil One Paul Said We Are Not Ignorant Of His Devices He

[22:46] Is A Deceiver And The Only Way That We Can Get The True Scoop Regarding Values Game Plan Everything That Goes With It Is Found In The Word Of God It Is Not Found In The Minds Of Human Beings So Prior To This Mystery Being Revealed And The New Dimensions Of Spirit Being Able To Reinforce The Physical All Was Very Physical With Very Little Involvement Of The Spiritual And I Really I Really Hope You Grasp This Because It Is Key It Is Essential To Understanding The Whole Thrust Of The Bible And If You're Able To Get A Firm Handle On This It Will Let You Connect A Lot Of Dots That I Think Are Otherwise Incapable Of Being Connected So Let Me Continue We've Labored Over The Past Two Years In Particular To Demonstrate The Progressive Revelation

[25:47] It Begs In Comparison To The Spiritual Which Is Far Stronger Far More Dominant Far More Important And It Is That Which Comprises Our God Himself God Is Spirit He's Not Physical I Know The Bible Talks About God Has An Arm That Cannot His Arm Is Not Shortened That It Cannot Save And The Eyes Of The Lord Run To And These Are All Anthropomorphisms God In His Essence And Character And Nature And Makeup Is Spiritual And The Only Time Physical Properties Are Assigned To The Deity Is For The Purpose Of Communication So We've Got Some Frame Of Reference But He Isn't Physical At All I Know That's What The Mormon Church Believes And They're Wrong So We've We've Labeled The Old Testament And Even The Four Gospels As Well As About

[30:51] Displays And Interventions That Are A Wow Factor And Let's Face It Most Of Us Today Are So Shallow In Our Thinking We Would Go Back To Those Days In A Heartbeat As Opposed To The Spiritual Because We Want Something We Can See Something We Can Get Our Hands On And This Spiritual Stuff Is Just Fluff How Do You Handle That How Do You Get A Hold Of That Well You Can But You Can't Get A Hold Of It With These Hands You Get A Hold Of It With The Mind This Is Why We Say Christianity Is A Thinking Faith It Is Not A Faith Built On Fluff It Is A Faith Built On Adequate Evidence

[31:52] But It Takes The Application Of The Mental To Apply To It And So Many People Are So Blooming Lazy Mentally They Just Want Something They Can Do With Their Hands Or Fingers Like Texting That's The Real World Just Let Me Text Let Me Play Those Games And I'll Be Satisfied Wow We Miss Out On What Really Matters Man When He Is Created Is Physical God Condescends To Man's Level So As To Accommodate Him In Ways He Can Understand The Old Testament Gospels And Earlier Acts Of The Apostles Are Steeped In Matters Of Physicality And Materiality Adam And Eve Partaking Of A Physical Object Whatever It Was Noah

[33:54] When Christ Was Here He Accommodated Them He Provided All Kinds Of Miracles And They Never Satisfied Because The Physical Never Never Satisfies You Never Get Your Fill Of The Physical This Is Why Jesus Said Man Shall Not Live By Bread Alone Because That Alone Won't Satisfy Him But By Every Word That Proceeds From The Mouth Of God That's The Spiritual That's What Satisfies That's What Jesus Meant When He Said He Who Drinks Of The Water That I Give Him Shall Never Thirst Because It's Spiritual Water It Isn't The H2O Stuff That You Get From The Tap This Is Spiritual Water But It Is Just As Real As The Water You Get From The Tap I Wonder What Would Happen In The Body Of Christ If People Would Start Picking Up On This And

[34:55] Realize How Tremendously Deficient They Are Voluntarily Making Their Lives By Giving To Spiritual Such As Short Shrift God Coming From Heaven To Earth Pretty Physical Jesus Was Born A Physical Baby And A Physical Bethlehem When Paul Said The Jews Look For A Sign That's Because God Raised The Moon Signs They Were A Nation Of Signs And The Word Signs Simply Means The Word Semiah Means Means A Miracle It Means A Manifestation It Means It Means Wow Factor Something That Will Bow You Over And He Did That Time After Time After Time And They Never Got Enough And They Said Show Us The Signs Show Us Finally Jesus Got Fed Up And He Said You Know Your Problem Is Not Signs Or Lack Of Signs Your Problem Is You Don't Believe Because You Don't Want To Believe Who Are You Kidding If

[40:10] Yeah. A question was brought up after Sunday school that when we are resurrected, we will have a spiritual body.

[40:23] And I thought it was a body like Christ. Yeah. Yeah. Well, it will be a body fashioned like unto the glorious body of our Lord Jesus Christ, as Paul writes about in Philippians 3.

[40:36] Actually, when you use the term a spiritual body, it almost sounds like a contradiction in terms, doesn't it? Because you think of the spiritual as being immaterial and the body as being material.

[40:46] But what is going to happen? And as best as I can understand this, this is going to occur at the translation of the church, when the dead in Christ are raised first.

[40:59] Like Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 4. He said, Behold, I show you what? A mystery. In other words, this is something nobody ever knew before because it was never prophesied.

[41:15] It's not a subject of prophecy. Paul said, I show you a mystery. And here it is. We shall not all sleep. That means we're not all going to die physically.

[41:29] But we shall be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye. For the trumpet will sound and the dead in Christ shall rise first.

[41:41] And then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds. And so shall we ever be with the Lord. So when these graves give up the dead which are in them.

[41:52] And we talked about this months ago when we considered the rapture. We spent several sessions on that. But the graves are not going to be disturbed. You won't know that anybody ever came out of the grave.

[42:05] And by the way, I say you won't know. You shouldn't be here to know. Because if you're a believer, you're going to be gone. If you're here to see that the grave is intact, you're in big trouble. Okay? So the grave is going to be intact because that resurrected body is going to be glorified there in the ground.

[42:25] And then come forth. And it will come forth with the same kind of body that Jesus Christ had when he came out of the tomb. And he didn't sit there on that gravesite and wait for an angel to show up to roll away the stone.

[42:42] He was gone. He went right through the stone. And the angel rolled away the stone so the women could get in. Jesus was already gone. He had a glorified body.

[42:53] That's a different body. Same Jesus, but a different body. And it is this glorified body, risen to heaven and communicating to Saul of Tarsus on the Damascus Road that constitutes the beginning of this update that we're talking about.

[43:15] You see, let me just be – I didn't see any other hands, so I'll just take the two minutes that we have left. We'll get right there, P.A. Let me just add this, that these bodies are confined in that we occupy space and time.

[43:42] And we cannot divorce ourselves from that, but the spiritual can. And when these bodies are glorified and it's a body like Christ's, it will not have the limitations of space and time that we have now.

[43:58] We will be able with these glorified bodies to do exactly what Jesus Christ did when he appeared in the presence of the disciples behind a locked door.

[44:11] Where the door was never knocked on and nobody ever went to open it. But lo and behold, there's Jesus. And angels appeared the same way. Remember Simeon, when he was in the temple and he was preparing to offer incense?

[44:25] He was of the order of Abijah and his time had come around in the rotation system and he was going to offer incense. And he was there in the temple. And he was the only one there.

[44:36] And all of a sudden, boom, just like that. There's a being there. Where did he come from? He just appeared. He was an angel.

[44:49] And he appeared to Zacharias and he told him that he was going to have a son. His name would be John. He would be the forerunner of the Messiah and so on. Angels always show up like that. And everybody is scared to death when they arrive because they don't see them coming.

[45:02] There is just someone there where there was nobody there seconds before. And that's the kind of body you're going to have. That's a glorified body. It's also called a spiritual body.

[45:13] And that means it's going to possess properties that it does not now have. And it is going to be amazing. Just absolutely amazing.

[45:24] P.A. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. When we were talking between the service and I said about when they put Christ to death, he still had a body like we have.

[45:39] Yeah. And he got tired and he needed sleep and everything. Right. Okay. But after the resurrection, then this no longer applied to him.

[45:52] So, and then I said, when we leave this earth, then we will receive our spiritual body. Yeah. But I probably am not near as good as explaining things as you are.

[46:07] So, hopefully now she'll understand it a little better. And thank you much for clearing it up. Well, thank you for being here.

[46:17] And what I have shared is what all I can say is my understanding of the scriptures to this point. And I do not profess that everything I gave you was 100% gospel.

[46:30] I can tell you that I intended it to be and I meant it to be and I thought it to be. But I don't have any infallibility about me. I'm as flawed as anybody else.

[46:41] And yet this is my most, this is Marv's latest update. Okay. And I trust there will be others coming. But there is so very much.

[46:52] Sometimes I just get so embarrassed at my ignorance. And you just really feel sorry for these wise acres that think they really know something.

[47:06] And they have no idea how dumb they really are. And the more you learn, the more appreciation you have for what you don't know. And there's a whole lot more that we don't know than what we do know.

[47:21] So, have we any grounds for boasting? Absolutely not. We just have grounds for great thanksgiving for every bit of information God is willing to give us. And I tell you, there's nothing like it.

[47:36] Would you stand, please? Father, we have not begun to plumb the depths of what is involved here. We have not even scratched the surface.

[47:48] But we trust we have at least scratched the scratch on the surface. These are things that are reflections of the infinite God whose knowledge and wisdom and understanding is boundless and without limitation.

[48:04] We just cannot begin to appreciate the greatness of your being. And we are humbled by the fact that you have been so gracious to condescend to the level of poor, needy human beings by becoming one of us and taking upon yourself our sin for which we deserve due punishment.

[48:36] And because you took our sin and you paid that penalty, we are free from the law of sin and death. And for anyone here looking for answers, we're delighted to be able to tell them they will find them in the crucified Christ, buried, raised again for our justification.

[49:02] Father, if there is anyone here struggling with the issues of life, wondering about eternal life, wondering about forgiveness, wondering about what it means to truly be a believer.

[49:16] We simply pray that the Lord Jesus will reveal himself to them in a way that an open heart can readily receive and understand. Thank you for yourself.

[49:27] Thank you for all that you've been pleased to reveal. Thank you for the latest update we have from Paul and for the fact that there will be another update coming from John, the beloved apostle, as he gives us what you gave him in the revelation.
