[0:00] 9 verse 24 we can start there maybe before we do uh is there any prayer requests this morning okay let's have a word of prayer then father we just thank you for this time that we can gather together as believers and fellowship with each other and study your word father and we just thank you for that and just guide us this morning as we go through daniel and this uh important time field that he's talking about here in chapter 9 and we just thank you for that we thank you for your your son the lord jesus christ and what he did at the cross and we just thank you and praise you and ask it in christ's name amen well the last time we were together we got into the verse 24 but we saw daniel wanting more information about what happened after the seven years of captivity from the beginning of chapter 9 we saw daniel studied the passages in jeremiah but still didn't understand much of what's going to be happening with the nation of israel after this 70 years so uh that's part of the reason why gabriel was sent to correct daniel's misunderstanding of what would happen daniel had just studied jeremiah's 70 year prophecy it seemed that he believed that israel's troubles were almost at an end they would return to the land and then the messiah would come and establish his kingdom in essence gibber tells him a lot of things have to take place and it's going to take a long time so don't count on the messiah coming at this point so daniel 9 24 and we'll go through 27 just to get it out there 70 weeks have been decreed for your people and the holy city to finish the wrongdoing to make an end of sin to make atonement for guilt to bring in everlasting righteousness to seal up visions and prophecy and anoint in the most holy place so you are to know and understand that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild jerusalem and tell the messiah the prince there will be 70 weeks seven weeks and 62 weeks it will be built again with streets and moats and even times of distress and 26 then after the 62 weeks the messiah will be cut off and have nothing and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary and its end will come with a flood even to the end there will be war desolations and determine are determined 9 27 and he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate even until complete destruction one that is decreed is poured out on the one who makes desolate this is a part of scripture that foretells what is going to happen at the end time and it gives a timing for it and uh you know a lot of people especially today with all the things going on in the world over in the middle east uh there's things with china and russia uh disagreeing with what we here in america are doing with the peace treaties and all that kind of stuff that's going on kind of just plays in with what we're going to be studying here today uh you know some people say wow it's it's now the time is time is here but we know that god has his own timing so let's go to i think we covered verse 24 pretty good the last time but let's go to verse 25

[4:09] so you are to know and understand that from the issue of the decree to restore it and rebuild jerusalem he's giving us a time frame here and uh that time frame the fourth degree of nehemiah had received bad news jerusalem's walls and gates were still in ruins strengthened by prayer he spoke to the king was granted permission to go to judah in nehemiah 2 5 and 8 there was two other three other times during nehemiah and some of the other old prophets that they were told to go back to jerusalem but most of those times they were told to rebuild the temple that was the main thing and the first thing that they were to do but this here in nehemiah and i and i said unto the king if it pleases the king and if every servant had found favor in thy sight that thou would send me into judah into the city of my fathers that i may rebuild it and the king said unto me for how long shall be the the journey be and when without return so it pleased the king to send me and i and i sent him and set him a time so he was sent back to jerusalem to start rebuilding the the city of jerusalem and that's the time frame that we're talking about here so ala uh at his exer he's made a degree given there by permission safe patches and supplies to do it or jerusalem to rebuild the city and the walls and 454 now i've given you the 454 people put all kinds of dates on this and why do they put those dates different dates on there because they wanted to match what's going to be out there when jesus comes some of them put the date of when jesus was born some put the date that when he was baptized some put the date in other parts of this this time frame so it's really kind of hard to come up with a date there were so many things out there so all you and he doesn't give the exact date they said it's just a a time frame that we're talking about here so only the last four decrees was commanded to restore and build jerusalem the first were to build a temple following this degree the jewish pimple and jewish people endured troublesome times as they rebuilt the homeland despite significant opposition from other groups in judah they were when they were in that 70 year captivity other people moved into their land so what they had to come back you know these people are saying well wait a minute we don't want you back so they caused a lot of problems so this is the first seven weeks of the 69 weeks or 49 years to rebuild the city walls and the streets after that the 69 weeks the messiah the prince will come after rebuilding daniel's or jerusalem daniel's prophecy anticipated the messiah of the prince a hebrew phrase associated with king authority kingly authority the one time that jesus appeared as a prince and a ruler was at his triumphant entry into jerusalem when he rode into the city on a donkey his followers recognized the days of significance and received him with praise blessed is the king who comes in the name of the lord in zechariah 9 it says rejoice greatly o daughter of zion shout in triumph o daughter of jerusalem behold your king is coming to you he is just and endowed with salvation humble and mounted on a donkey even on a colt the foal of a donkey and luke 19 38 shouting blessed is the king who comes in the name of the lord peace in heaven and glory in the highest so this is that part of the the the prophecy there 9 26 then

[8:19] after the 62 weeks the messiah will be cut off and have nothing and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary and will come with a flood even to the end with wars and desolations and this is exactly what happened after christ came we have the 49 weeks so now we come to where the messiah will be cut off until the messiah the prince else be seven weeks and 62 weeks gabriel's message to daniel was simply and striking 483 years that is 69 units of the seven years would pass from the time of the command recorded in jeremiah until the appearance of the messiah the prince i think it's amazing that he set this time frame and it doesn't you can put that date wherever you want to put it but he's saying in 483 years from the time that he was given to rebuild jerusalem the messiah would be here so there were many dates this is a key date and uh so it really just depends on what dates you want to use where it's going to put you in this time frame of jesus while he was here on earth so because of this there are many who say 400 years was at his birth some say baptism others say all these different things the rebuilding of the streets and the wall jerusalem would happen in the first seven weeks then we'd be followed for 62 weeks and then we'd have the messiah here i think i handed out a sheet from the last time i was here if nobody if everybody has that sheet if not put up your hand joy so hand you some more they're there on my briefcase honey anybody else need a sheet right there yeah there should be some and all this is just i tried to put this down on paper kind of lay out how this works but we have the babylon in captivity if you see that there the first thing in the on the chart then the decree to rebuild jerusalem and there i use that 454 bc and the restoration that's the first seven weeks 49 years or seven weeks reducing jerusalem was rebuilt the city was completed and then we have the 69 weeks and that comes up to 434 silent years and there's a lot of things that goes on in those silent years but that's all this is going to come and they will come to the where the beside the prince is cut off and i put that around a.d. 29 and put that anywhere around the cross and uh that's where he is cut off and then uh the next thing we see here this goes beyond what we're studying this morning but it goes into the future jerusalem is destroyed in 80 70 and uh it says we're going to see here earlier or later it says even to the end shall be wars and i think we're in that period now aren't we we've been in that period for a long time we have the world war wars one and two and uh all the different wars that's been going on we have country nations fighting nations and we see this and also what happens during this time frame when the messiah is cut off what happens to the nation of israel we're going to see that they're cut off too and that's where the church church age comes in there during that uh a time frame and uh we're going to see well 1948 what happens israel's being punished

[12:28] they've been scattered all over the world and in 1948 they've been given a decree that they can come back and become a state and israel's came back and they've rebuilt and they've changed the whole landscape of israel and uh so it's been an amazing thing of what's happened to israel since 1948 and uh we'll get into some of that later on all the wars that i think it was maybe one or two days after they became a state they were uh what all the other countries surrounding israel came in and tried to destroy him and all the different wars we'll go over some of those later that happened when israel became a state and the reason for that is all those arab countries they don't want israel there and they're going to do everything in their power to destroy him and we see some of that going on today and then on further on down the timeline we're going to see the rapture of the church church and once the rapture of church then things are going to start happening and you're going to see the tribulation there might be some couple wars and before that before the seven years i don't know where there's wars in ezekiel and it's psalm 83 where they're going to start but it could be right after the rapture it might be before because the rapture there's no time frame is there the rapture could happen at any time so there's nothing tied to the rapture as far as dates because when the lord says i want my church he's going to take us and no matter what's going on in the world so then after all this stuff happens and we're going to have the three and a half years of true or yeah there's seven years of tribulation and then after that once satan is taking care of the antichrist and the wars we're going to have one thousand years of uh the sound or the the millennium kingdom and all that's going to happen so that's kind of just a picture of what all this stuff that we're talking about is going to be but back to daniel 26 after the 62 weeks the messiah is actually cut off and of course that term means that well it's going to come down to the fact that he's going to be killed and that's exactly what's happened the cutoff is a sad description of jesus earthly life to and including the cross born in another man's stable cradled in another man's major main man yeah manger with nowhere to lay his head during his life on earth and buried in another man's tomb after dying on the cross the christ of god and the friend of the friendless was indeed cut off and had nothing five days after jesus rode into the jerusalem as a promised prince the jews called for his execution uh fully messiah's or i say his prophecy of the suffering servant and daniel's prophecy that the messiah would be cut off yes change the weeks to do what the time frame why did weeks become oh okay i i think back in in the in the early writings the seven weeks you convert those in seven it could be anything it could be seven days it could be seven weeks and it could be seven years and they're saying with the things that this thing prophesies for it would be the seven years because that's what it would take for something like this to happen

[16:31] in the scripture doesn't it say 77 so it doesn't really specify days or weeks or anything right but the term the term translated weeks is actually literally the number seven right so when it says weeks it actually says seven the number seven but that um that was used in place of the week week that we have and so it literally says 77 77 yeah i knew i heard it before but i couldn't and the weeks when we see the weeks now we're talking about weeks that's because of history i mean we know what's happened and you can tie it all into that but what the scripture saying is the 70 times seven in the third year and i'm like okay weeks or years years and years so that's what you're gonna be right yeah 77 doesn't specifically say 70 seven years it doesn't say 77s of years right doesn't say that but people you know bible interpreters kind of assume that based on the timeline right yeah yeah we got the the benefit of history yeah and when these books were written that that was not there at that point it was just a prophecy something's gonna happen hey you know a lot of times this what they're talking about is rome and stuff like that and the roman empire wasn't even here at this point this is talking about future events so five days after jesus wrote in uh the filth facility property the surfing server the daniel's prophecy that the sire would be cut off and as i of isaiah 53 for he grew up before him like a tender shoot and like a root out of perched ground he was not no he was no stately form or majesty that we should look upon him nor appearance that we would should be attracted to him and this is in isaiah 53 and it's describing the time that he comes and he was despised and forsaken of men a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief and like one from whom men hide their face he was despised and we did not esteem him talking about future then the whole body of them got up and brought him before pilate they knew they knew about messiah's suffering servant but they didn't realize the servant and the messiah were one in the same he came and they did not recognize him and he came not as a what they expected they expected the king to come in and change everything that was going on they expected the messiah to ride in as a king establishing his kingdom and said he came in as a common man with no fanfare and they did not receive him we see john 1 11 he came to his own and those who were his own did not receive him the nation of israel did not receive him during the 69 weeks god primary primarily dealt with the world through the nation of israel they were in some ways the focal point of his work on earth but during this gap god is primarily dealing with the world through his church which is made up mainly of gentiles so we have the christ coming they didn't accept him they put him on the cross and then we go into the book of acts and all the things that goes on there with peter and starting of the church and they're still dealing with the nation of israel the first part of

[20:34] acts but as paul comes on the scene we see that they reject reject and reject so the book of act paul said that this that because the jews rejected the gospel he went to the gentiles and acts 13 44 the next sabbath nearly the whole city assembled to hear the word of the lord now this is when they were in antioch and when the jews saw the crowds they were filled with jealousy and they began contradicting the things spoken by paul and were blaspheming here's an here's the apostle paul out preaching jesus christ and what's happening in 40 or 13 46 paul and barnabas spoke out boldly and said it was necessary that the word of god be spoken to you first to who first the nation of israel whenever paul went into a place to speak the first thing he did was speak to the nation of israel and he said this is your time this is your messiah he has come you didn't recognize him but now's the time to recognize that but they didn't verse 47 for thus for so the lord has commanded us i have placed you as a light before the gentiles that you may bring salvation to the end of the earth that was one of the things that god wanted the nation of israel to do wasn't it they wanted them to be a light to the gentile yeah you my people go to these gentile people that's been against you since the beginning all the destruction and the wars and all this stuff go to them and be a light to them in verse 48 when the gentiles heard this they rejoiced and glorified the word of the lord as and as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed hey the gentiles were happy with paul's message you know here's somebody who finally said there is a god jesus of his society he takes care of all the sins of the world and he's coming to you to the gentiles because he accepts everybody he not only accepts the nation of israel he accepts everyone so when he talks about all he means all but the jews incited the devote devout women and and the prominence and the leading men of the city and instigated a persecution against paul and barnabas and drove them out of their district but they just shook off the dust of their feet and protest against them and went to iconium and the disciples were intentionally filled with joy and with the holy spirit and that's the whole book of acts and all the paul's journeys he'd go he had preached the gospel first to the to the jews and then to the gentiles and most of the time they did not believe they blasphemed him and they just shook their feet and said okay israel we'll go to the next town and that's what we see in the whole book of well of all of paul's journey he made three different journeys uh by the end of acts i really we don't really know where it started but after the book of acts what happened the nation of israel is cut off they are no more not god's people well they are god's people but god has set them aside basically is what he's done he's saying israel you're my people i wanted you to have all this the kingdom and all this stuff but you would not believe we are now in a time span where if you accept jesus christ as your savior jews you are a believer of jesus christ and you're in cap you're included in the church but those of nation of israel do not believe they are cut aside or set aside and god will deal with them

[24:40] and in the future god will come back to them and bring them back and that's what we see in the seven-year tribulation period and all the stuff that's going to happen it is this at the end of the 69 weeks a divine whistle was blown because the jews rejected the messiah none of the six things listed in 924 were fulfilled yet that is why the anointed one had nothing and we see those six things in verse 24 and the fact that the anointed one had nothing god turned his attention to the vast harvest field of the gentiles we are currently in this intermission period right now until these final weeks are ended that is the age we are in now is often referred to as the last days we are nearly at the end of this calendar we don't know how long it will last at any moment god may blow the whistle again and restart the clock and begin this final week and that's god's timing we cannot put a date to it once the whistle blows and the clock restarts it will be only seven years until jerusalem returns in glory having fulfilled all this all six of the purposes mentioned in daniel 9 24 most of the events in the book of revelation the tribulation occurred within the seven years called the tribulation again israel's rejection of jesus marked the beginning of this gap that we're in right now god has set israel's side and is ministering to all who accept jesus christ as our savior and that's what's going on today so uh to continue with 9 26 uh the 69 weeks the messiah will be called for nothing and the people the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary and its end will come with a flood even to the end will be war desolations and determinations so shall destroy the city and the sanctuary what's he talking about he's talking about jerusalem after the messiah was cut off jerusalem and her temple would be destroyed again by an overwhelming army most old bible scholars and commentators agree that this was fulfilled by the romans and the destruction of a.d in a.d 70.

[27:06] uh i think it's really fascinating during the time after christ's death rome would was putting all kinds of things against the nation of israel and they were fighting they had little off groups that were going against rome but all of a sudden rome says okay we've had enough of this country or this nation of israel and we're going to destroy the jerusalem and that's exactly what they did and of course we know once they destroyed jerusalem that the jews were dispersed and they started going across and being dispersed all over the world who is this prince most teachers say this prince will be an heir to the roman empire because the old roman empire is the one who destroyed jerusalem in a.d 70 then most likely this prince will have ancestral roots tracing back to the ancient roman empire but something to keep in mind is that the ancient roman empire also included regions included many of the arab countries that we see today such as egypt iraq lebanon palestine as we've been studying this book we came first with babylon and then uh they were conquered and they conquered more land and the next people came and conquered more land and then when the uh as we get to the time that rome took over and took the nations rome took in a vast vast air territory of countries and nations which included also these these countries of the arabs that we're talking about and we see today so most people say this this person is going to be a italian or some some something like that from the european empire and that's quite possible we don't know who it's going to be but i think it's also possible it could be an arab and so we just don't know that so the babylonians destroyed the temple in the city and diverse first times in 606 the captives returned to judah and rebuild it the temple in the city of jerusalem again only to have it destroyed the second time in 80 70 which was 40 years of course beyond the cross so we still got the seven years unfulfilled which we will be there will be seven years of tribulation but get one thing straight this thing is going to happen after the roman empire comes back again and again we don't know who that is going to be particularly in the roman empire at the time that daniel's writing the roman empire hasn't even appeared the first time the roman empire is still out of the future that's what makes this all so hard for scoffers to accept that daniel has such perfect revelation of the future that even though it hadn't happened history proved that it did and all these things he talked about jerusalem it was destroyed the people the people the people from this person destroyed the nation of israel and that happened so war will continue to the end well the last part of 26 and its end will come with the flood even to the end there will be wars and desolations are determined so war will continue until the end jesus himself taught that the wars and hardships would continue and he said in verse uh mark 13 which we're covering right now just a couple weeks ago when you hear the war here that when you hear of wars and rumors of wars do not be frightened these things must take place that it is not the end for nation will rise against nation kingdom against kingdoms there will

[31:11] be earthquakes in various places there will also be famines their things are merely the beginning of birth pains wow and jesus day he's given us a picture of what we're seeing today notice that these events described in verse 26 take place between the seven seven sevens and the 62 sevens that have passed here daniel is also referring to the horrors of the tribulation that was not only jerusalem in the land of israel and desolation but it will be worldwide and that's what's going to happen during the tribulation period this whole planet will have to be totally destroyed in order to regenerate and be ready for the king 9 27 he will make a firm commitment with the many for one week but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to the sacrifice and grain offerings and the wing of the dominations will come one who makes desolate even to the complete destruction one that is decreed is poured out and the sons who make desolate as the gap at the end of the church draws to close the church will be raptured away without notice well i shouldn't say that i can't imagine what's going to happen when the church is raptured uh we just can't know can we i mean there's been shows and all kinds of things where airplanes uh you know all the people disappear the pilots disappear there could be all kinds of calamity we just don't know yeah terry i had an interesting conversation with some folks over the holiday they believe the rapture is the end of everything everything yeah they don't believe in revelation they think that that was written stories about the roman empire they don't believe in the white throne judgment any of those kind of things so i it's just kind of mind-blowing to me trying to talk to them and explain where they're coming from they believe in water baptism they believe in early acts uh creation of the church they don't believe in the revelation they think rapture uh if you're saved to go on one side if you're not saved to go on the other side yeah it's just it's amazing what some of the beliefs are out there and some of the conversations you get into and the amount of people that just do that understand this part of scripture you know they think jesus came he died on the cross and hey everything's okay now and we're all going to be beaten heaven someday and they just don't get the true picture of what is in the word of god and that's sad but it has to be somebody that teaches from the scripture and not just saying things from the pulpit that really don't make sense with scripture they said oh we go we go by what the bible says yeah up to that one point yeah yeah yeah most people when they say that they're going to go in that scripture right up to where they believe that that's the end of it and they're not going to go any further because they don't understand it and i can see why they don't understand it it's it's confusing uh to sit down and just start reading if you don't have somebody that can point out things and tell you what's going on so yeah there's a lot of things out there well it's interesting because i i started talking about different uh authors david jeremiah and then different people like that talk about the end times oh i don't read anything like that i just read and that's good except you know anybody writes these books they're taking their own

[35:12] thoughts on what's what these scriptures are saying so yeah they're great books but you got to take it whether and you got to take it for scripture that you understand and compare it and come up with something yeah well i think it's it's healthy to read different perspectives on things like the end times or whatever it might be because the more you read the broader your view is of the different possibilities or things that people consider yeah and you can you can come to a correct view um with the more the more information you have okay so uh you know and and the bible says that god has set teachers in the church you know so it's appropriate it's good to read books from others and to listen to sermons or whatever it might be so yeah and wow the internet today you want information i mean this is an information world today there's nothing you can't ask if you can't find somebody that's going to tell you what they think and uh the end times it's amazing how many articles how many people are out there today preaching the end times and there's a lot of things going on there's a lot of different ways and things that we see and that's just like the timing of the chart that we just went through hey you can write books and say this is the date and you can take it all the way and take it to what you feel it is so the main thing when you're reading these books is to get a basic understanding of what's going on and find some place that agrees or in your thinking it makes sense and uh we're never going to know the the real thing until the time comes for him to reveal it and of course everybody's going to be wide awake at that point and say ah now that makes sense now yeah so we see the gap the prince of the world who is the prince that's going to come the antichrist i'm going to turn to another page what i want to do here oh here we go about the antichrist who is this antichrist who will be how will we recognize him is the bible clear that one man the antichrist will rise up to unite the world under one government during the tribulation that seems almost impossible too doesn't it with the way the all these nations interact with each other and all the stuff that's going on this global dictator will pose as an angel of light just like his father the devil but will later act out his true and evil nature antichrist all that means is anti-christ it's it's the prefix anti that means instead of and he will obviously oppose christ at the same time pass himself off as christ or god the antichrist will aggressively live up to his terrible name he will persecute torture and kill people uh he will lead armies into battle especially there in the battle of armageddon he will be most powerful dictator of the world has ever seen uh making caesar hitler mayo and satam seem almost uh uh uh tame in comparison there's not going to be anything that's going to be like the tribulation period and uh this antichrist is going to be the main leader of this even though the antichrist is identified by the by the name only four times in the bible or that's the only time it's recorded in the bible's antichrist and i think those times uh they're in one john and it's talking about antichrist but they're

[39:16] taking it as far as unbelievers it's being like the antichrist but there's many other times in scripture that he has a name that's that's put out and he appears more times under various alias as he is called the promise that shall come uh in daniel 9 6 the first king fierce king in daniel 8 23 a master of intrigue in 8 23 a despicable man in daniel 11 we'll see the worthless shepherd and zechariah the one who brings destruction in second thessalonians the lawless one the evil man the beast and the beast in revelation all of revelation the beast is completely described when he comes on the scene people will flock to him like flies to hunting and they will do anything he asks now we just can't even imagine that can we how can this one man come on the scene and make everybody in the world believe that he's going to do all these things so how will he reenite the nation the prophet damsel describes the antichrist in these terms after this i saw in the night vision and behold a fourth beast and there were eyes like the eyes of a man and mouth speaking promptest words he will speak promptest words against the most high we see in daniel 7 and daniel says that the coming world leader will be re re re re owned for his uh renowned for his kind of eloquence which will capture the attention of the administration of the world here's going to be a man come on the scene it's going to come on this tv that you can see all over the world and he's going to spout all these things and these people are going to believe it because he's going to be saying there is going to be complete peace in the whole world and he's going to change all this and people's going to buy it daniel goes on to tell us that not only will this golden tongue our orator speak in high-blown terms but we also speak arrogantly against god god the apostle john describes this when he's talking in the book of revelation he will he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies uh what else about him uh finally in revelation no the apostle john expands on daniel's description of antichrist blasphemies uh when he says jesus granted power to kill those who would worship the image of the beast he's going to be so powerful that he's going to say this is what you must believe and if you don't believe this this is what's going to happen revelation 13 uh describes the antichrist as a beast and appropriate time for him uh during the the last three and a half years of the tribulation antichrist will personally uh personify satan himself second thessalonians 2 9 says the coming of the lawless one is according to the working of satan and with all power and signs and lying wonders step by step the antichrist will propose himself from a european leader to the world leader to a dynamical global dictator and finally what i am god worship me that's what he's going to do we see that there's this the 666 everybody talks about the 666 and all that is is a mark that the beast beast and uh is it going to be a 666 on your forehead who knows yeah that doesn't have to be today you know there's technology where they can plant and stuff and we see that today if your dog gets lost

[43:19] all you have to do is somebody finds it they wave a thing across it and your dog's been found uh i don't see that that that couldn't happen here so 600 or the 666 identifies its beat but precisely how 666 is connected the beast is not the main point uh many have tried to come up with a crazy calculation on how this relates to the uh to a certain man the links some go to in order to come up with a person's name to add up to 666 are amazing and these people are out there doing it today running logarithms all kinds of stuff to come up well how you're going to match this 666 with a person virtually any name can add up to 666 if you mathematically gymnastics are employed uh you learn that back in in school when you're doing algebra and all kinds of different things hey you can do anything with numbers anything so the bible office uses the number to refer to god and his perfection traditionally six is thought of of what man created on the sixth day and always falling short of god the beast antichrist will strive to be god he will likely even claim to be god but just as the number six falls short of the number seven so will the beast and the antichrist with this identity of sixes ultimately fall in his effort to defeat god he's just not going to be able to do it so that's a picture of a little bit of picture with the antichrist and of course the antichrist is eventually just going to lose he is going to lose and all these different nations all these things are going to work out there's going to be a nation of the north the nation of the south and they're going to come against the antichrist and that's going to be the battle of armageddon and it'll be a deadly battle but eventually christ will come so how does this uh antichrist gain political power satan is the first person or no he rises uh will be inconspicuous and i mean that by the fact that he's just going to sneak in and all of a sudden you're going to see this guy doing all kinds in the world and people is going to say wow and they're going to put him up and he'll become a main character of the world and this is going to be the the beginning of the end so we see that coming so let's go back to daniel so the prince of the world leader will agree to provide military protection and religious freedom for israel in the first years of the treaty he will even help the jews rebuild the temple and reestablish the sacrificial system but after three and a half years this seemingly generous ruler will break the treaty and put an end to sacrificial system and begin a reign of terror and we are out of time any questions about what we covered this morning yep he dies somewhere and comes back to life that's going to be a big calling for his feet yep it will be yeah can you imagine i'm assuming it's going to be on tv and everything you know this guy has been killed and all of a sudden he comes back and that's going to be one of the amazing things that he's going to be capable of doing and is he capable of doing it no i don't think so god has allowed this man to do this because this is part of god's plan and he's saying the nation of israel you're my people if i have to do this this is what's going to happen

[47:25] for me to get you to come back yes yes before god died you mean jesus or yeah jesus uh yeah some of them were believers because they believe what god said so yeah you're going to have believers from the old testament that will come and they will during the rapture those some of those people will come up along with the christians so yeah there is believers before jesus christ because they believed in what god said and god used them good question yeah you have to think about how chaotic the world will be when the rapture happens oh and and you could see where because of what will be left they will definitely be looking for someone to be a strong leader and if this person comes on the scene and can give them the you know promise them the economic you know life that they would like you know just like we'll get you know we'll make it bigger and better than even was before all this yeah chaos happened i can see you know just with what little happened to has happened here in the states in like the last 10 years and the direction we were going in i i could just see where you know that would be readily accepted oh yeah yeah and we don't know where america's going to be during this time even if they're over there yeah yeah so we don't know i mean we could be a part of this this uh the roman empire i mean how do we get established you know they came over here from england and all these so this country was made it wasn't here that many indians were here but uh as far as the constitution and everything we we were those people came over here and uh so we could be a part of it also so we don't know how all that's going to work so anything anything else before we close all right see you again next week
